Prelect and Solcellekraft announce strategic partnership on EMS platform services

Prelect and Solcellekraft (a subsidiary of DCC Plc), a pioneer in the solar industry in Norway, have entered into a strategic partnership to provide solar & battery owners with EMS-platform services, such as steering, operational optimization & monitoring alongside technical aggregation service.

An increasing amount of industries demand optimization of their electric infrastructure, complex integration between energy storage solutions and access to the flexibility markets. This partnership will help more businesses across various sectors to access the flexibility markets, and at the same time increase the value of the end customer's electric assets, such as solar production and batteries.

As part of the partnership, Prelect will offer their state of the art AI-platform for steering of electric infrastructure to Solcellekraft`s customers. Prelect will also use their advanced technical capabilities to do simulations and advanced AI-modelling to maximise the asset owners return from their participation in the flexibility markets.

We see the B2B energy market evolving from offering just solar panels to delivering complex solutions that include batteries, charging stations, and other hardware — providing customers with the opportunity to achieve higher returns on their investments. While we are experts in hardware and in tailoring integrated solutions for our customers, it became clear that we needed a partner with strong expertise in EMS platform services.
