Why Prelect?

A place for those who want to make a difference

You help ensure society has access to electricity - now and in the future

Electrification opens up new possibilities, but also brings greater complexity. At Prelect, you'll work on solutions that help predict, optimize and improve grid capacity, so that the green transition can move faster and more efficiently.

You'll grow
in a strong professional environment

At Prelect, you'll be part of a passionate team with friendly, skilled colleagues with deep expertise in IT, innovation, and renewable energy. You'll have opportunities to share knowledge, challenge yourself, and grow professionally.

Freedom
to shape
your own workday

We value flexibility and autonomy, and believe that the best results happen when people work when and where they perform at their best - and when everyday life works. Our teams are free to shape their own workday and find the right balance between focus and collaboration.

You'll work in a startup - backed by 100 years of experience

Prelect was founded in 2024 and is growing fast. As part of Eviny, you get the best of both worlds: the speed and independence of being a startup, combined with the stability of being part of one of Norway's largest companies in renewable energy.

You'll work with AI and cutting-edge technology

At Prelect, we build solutions that combine AI and industrial IoT to create smarter energy systems. We work with state-of-the-art tools and technologies, developing solutions that set the standard for the energy sector of the future.

Skipet - our workspace

We are located in Skipet ("The Ship") - Bergen's first and largest commercial buildings made of cross-laminated timber, built with sustainability at its core. The building is powered by solar panels, reused batteries from electric cars, and district heating, and cooled with seawater from the surrounding fjord.

Our offices are bright and open, surrounded by wood and natural materials, in Solheimsviken - also known as Bergen's Innovation District. Here, startups, research communities, and established companies work side by side.
